Opened a couple of days ago and followed the evolution. Deep dark ruby red color. Blackberry and blueberry dominate the nose with some cedar plank. Very fruit forward with black- and blueberry again. Good freshness and purity of fruit, but a fairly simple wine that lacks the layers and earthiness I'm looking for. Finishes OK. Nothing transcendental, but definitely serviceable.
