2001 Château Fombrauge (France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru)

I fear this wine has taken a turn for the worse. Very soft texture now and good chocolaty black fruit, but the oak is sticking out so heavily that I don't think it'll ever integrate into the remaining fruit, especially given relatively low acidity in this wine. This is effectively undrinkable unless paired with some heavy duty foods like barbecue. I will drink up my remaining bottle very soon.
