The Big 100

This blog has now been up for almost three years. Since the inception of this blog, I've had an email newsletter (automated email RSS feed), and as of today, we have more than 100 subscribers to this newsletter. I can't tell you how proud I am that more than 100 of you have chosen to hear from my daily/weekly wine exploits. I know 100 is still a very small number, but one has to start somewhere.

I continue to enjoy writing for you, and I hope to allow those who share similar palate preferences, to have the benefit of knowing whether I love, like, or hate a wine, and whether I think it's good value. If I have steered even a few of you in the right direction, or dissuaded others from buying some of the poor wines I taste periodically, then I believe I've accomplished my mission.

I also remain committed to buying, properly storing, and drinking my own wines (tastings excepted). I don't accept wine freebies, trips, discounts or samples because I believe it is the only way I can give an unbiased opinion.
