2005 La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion (France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan)

My last bottle of this and again, it was outstanding. What makes this wine so good is its unique pencil shavings / graphite character that is complemented with leather, earth, and finesse black currant / cassis flavors and a nose that's terrific. The price was good too, back then so that only enhances the pleasure. Although it can last in the cellar, it's drinking beautifully right now.
