2000 Patrick Lesec Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Galets Blonds Tonneaux (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape)

Very nice wine. It is beginning to show a very traditional aged CdP profile with kirsch liqueur, licorice, ripe berry, leather and earthiness. It actually needed some tie to come around, so I suspect it can last for many more years. This wine over-delivers massively for the $35 I bought it at. Recommended.
