Very light ruby red color with a maraschino cherry nose and candied spices such as cinnamon, some marzipane, and strawberry. The palate is much drier than the nose gives away and it shows more earth, leather, and some light tobacco, ash notes. Finishes strong. Lovely bottle of wine.
