2004 Bouchard Père et Fils Beaune 1er Cru Teurons (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru)

This is the real deal. Garnet, brilliant translucent color that is on the darker side of the color spectrum. Nose on this wine is absolutely awesome. Cherry, red berry, peet moss, smokiness, and a hint of truffle. Has great stuffing and texture and is very tannic and grippy, still. Finish is incredibly long. This just stomps the 2004 Louis Boillot Volnay Grand Poisots I had the last two days. Very impressive and highly recommended.
