Pale yellow color. Nose is dominated by lemon zest, white flowers and custard aromas. Really very lemony on the palate with a hint of pear followed by jasmine and crisp green apple. Solid, and completely dry finish. Fermented in 60 gallon French oak barrels (50% new/50% old), but it's hard not to imagine this being an all steel fermented wine that never saw any oak, much less new oak. Fantastic wine for those who love the pure expression of Chardonnay fruit. It's a 1 part to 3 parts blend of See's and Wente Clone Chardonnay. I would bet that many would peg this as a burgundy instead of California Chard. Best Dehlinger Chard I've ever had.
