When I first opened this, I was rather disappointed. Too thick and fat for my tastes. Luckily, the wine keeps changing for the better in the fridge...After 2-3 days, it's now showing a nice nose of grapey aromas and spice. On the palate, it shows a lot more minerality than it did when first opened along with some white blossoms and subtle apple and pear. Big downside to this wine is that the finish is somewhat clipped and I'm finding it a bit one dimensional. That being said, it's still a reasonable good QPR and should do well with some simple foods.
