This one started out massively tannic and very angular a few days ago, but sitting in the cellar over the weekend had put this in the right zone. Really soft and velvety texture with some very ripe black currant and plum fruit. Really reminiscent of a good California Cab, but nowhere near the 2001 Solengo in quality. I have my doubts whether this will age in a way that will make it improve because of the low acidity, so I would open one now, decant generously and drink it with a nice steak (which is what I did). Ready to go now, and I don't think it'll get much better.
