2003 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Flax Vineyard (USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley)

Dreadful. Too big, too cloying, too sweet, too plush, too little acidity. Impossible to pair with any food other than BBQ ribs, I imagine. This could be the anti-Pinot. It's almost going to the Zinfandel spectrum of Pinot. What a disappointing offering from WS. The worst Pinot in WS's lineup in my opinion, and varietally not recognizable. What a shame.
