1979 Château Figeac (France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru)

Very bretty bottle. First opened, this was pretty flat and uninteresting, but gentle aeration turned it into a pretty delicious wine. Nice dark color, still with some orange bricking around the side. Floral and bretty nose. Solid on the palate with remarkable grip and fine tannins. Drinking great right now, but if you don't like brett in your wine, you will hate this. I liked the wine, although it wasn't an awesome bottle by any stretch of the imagination.
