2004 Bodegas Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero Malleolus (Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero)

This was surprisingly good. Big burly and loaded with blackberry and black currants, this nevertheless showed nice earthiness, dried herbs, and interesting flavor and aroma profiles. With something off the grill, especially leg of lamb, this is a very nice wine.
