This is a really exciting wine that seems to be made of many other styles. CdP-like flamboyant nose of kirsch liqueur with a hint of earth, pepper, and a nebbiolo-like rose and tar mixture, and a burgundy-like structure and texture with a superb, but still youthful frame of fruit. Best Goldridge I've tasted and absolutely ready for primetime, although I'd be the first to admit that a few years of cellar time will probably make this even better. Sensational.
