Excellent Barolo. Dark garnet color with a soaring nose of plum, tar, tobacco, and dried herbs. Sweet dark fruit with amazing balance of acidity, fruit, and tannins. Great finish...I love this wine and it's one that's worth seeking out. I understand his is considered the new school of Barolo, sign me up.
Had it with veal shanks in a wild mushroom cream sauce...pairing to die for.
