2004 Vincent Girardin Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs-Gain Vieilles Vignes (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru)

Pale to medium yellow color with nose of sweet fruit and white flowers. Very much apple and pear oriented palate with nice minerality. Finishes well, but the sweet fruit is really surprising. Would be an interesting match for a Varner Amphitheater from a less opulent year like 2005.
