Popped and poured. Dark ruby color. Smells like cherry, berry, leather, and earth. Solid mid-palate with distinct cherry and plum as well as a dried herb and licorice note. Finishes well. Needs some decanting before drinking well to get rid of some CO2. Reminds me a lot of the Alesia wines I've recently had.
