Post #200 and a quick announcement

It's now been almost 8 months since I started this blog, and it's time for a little reflection. I can tell you I am having a lot of fun with this blog, and what pleases me most is that readers and subscribers like you value the tasting notes on this blog and have found it to be a resource.

It may interest you to know that the stats of this blog (as of today ) have grown to:

17 email subscribers (5 new in November alone so far)
24 RSS feed subscribers
~1300 visits per month
~1800 pageviews per month

This is cool because the stats show me that an increasing number of folks find this blog useful and pass the word on to their friends.

So what's next? Well, I am going to post more "opinion columns" in the future instead of purely tasting notes, but rest assured, this blog will always be about the tasting notes more so than my general opinion regarding wine topics. Also, I would like this blog to become more interactive, so I will change the blog for comments not to be moderated anymore.

I am going to take a week off from posting, but I'll be back to posting the week of December 10.
