  • N.V. AndrĂ© Clouet Champagne Silver Brut - France, Champagne, Bouzy, Champagne
Much better than the last bottle. Same flavor profile, but a lot finer mousse and bead. I would describe this as apple peel, citrus zest, and crushed minerals. Absolutely awesome.

  • 2004 Enrico Santini Bolgheri Poggio Al Moro - Italy, Tuscany, Bolgheri
I keep sounding like a broken record, but this is really awesome wine. Never mind the reasonable price tag of $17 at purchase. Loaded with cherry, chocolate, and dusty coffee grinds, this is showing great with a couple of hours of air on it. And the texture is silky smooth. Absolute stunner.

  • 2002 Mitolo Shiraz G.A.M. - Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
Typical bottle for this producer. Classic blueberry, creamy, creosote flavors. With some air, the creaminess recedes and a certain tartness appears, but that's positive sa far as I am concerned. Finishes well, but with sa little as one or two hours of air, this shows amazingly smooth for a wine this young. I personal opinion is that this won't make old bones, so I would advise to drink in the next 5-10 years.
