Yes, yes, yes, yes! What a great Champagne. I was serving seared scallops and squid tonight with a light lemon sauce, and I wanted to serve a fizzy with it that could stand up to the shellfish as well as the smokiness from the grill...mission accomplished. This is a fantastic food Champagne that brings out the subtle shellfish flavors while accentuating the smoke character of the food. Racy acidity helped cut through the food and served as a great accompaniment as well as a great palate cleanser in between bites. Highly recommended.
