2001 Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro Ribera del Duero Crianza (Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero)

Dark garnet, opaque color. Aromas of pine, cassis, and blackberry with a little green tea. Pretty ripe on the palate, but remains fairly traditional. Shows some dried herb and blackberry flavors and finishes well enough. Not mind blowing, but pretty good for the money. Seems like it's ready to drink now, but it will hold for a few years, although I doubt it'll get any better...no reason to wait.
