Excellent wine. Really dark garnet color with a nose to die for. Funky, meaty game notes with some dark cherry, blackberry, and a hint of dried herbs. Superb velvety mouthfeel with dark berry fruit, leather, tobacco, and a hint of tar. Finished with good length. Wine with rustic feel, that is likely most enjoyed by devout old-world wine lovers. Great wine irrespective the price, but also a superb QPR.
