Oh my! Dark color, still very primary, tree bark, dense cherry. Packed with fruit and tons of stuffing, this also shows notes of beef blood and lavender. Incredibly layered with silky smooth texture. This wine will age very well. Made in a little riper style than the Pegau, but not in the famous "international style". Very true to CdP, a superb wine that was one of my favorite wines last night.
