Popped and poured. Needs a little time to unwind, but this stuff is incredible. If you've been into wine for some time, you know those moments when a wine really speaks to you. This is one of those wines and moments for me. Amazing nose of dust, earth and blackberry. Huge on the palate without being overdone. Matter of fact, beautiful freshness, cut, and length. Shows its youth via its still stern tannins, but it's already singing. This probably won't be for everyone. It is very dry on the palate and funky on the nose. Reminds me a little of a Grenache or Mourvedre blend in some ways. You can nearly taste the Languedoc sun in the fruit. What an awesome wine. Chapeau to Aimee Guibert. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Pinot Noir. This has lots of character and soul.
