Good effort. Seems larger styled than I remember. Definitely pretty stuffed and has the tell-tale orange zest aroma and flavor I so often find in Stephen's wines. A bit wild right now, it lacks a bit of elegance, but the fruit is very pure. I think this will develop nicely, but it's a more stereotypical California Pinot than I'm used to from older vintages of Walter Hansel wines (pre-2003).
