Had this with 2 hour long simmered bolognese sauce and fettucine. Popped and poured and what a wine. Incredibly plush wine with great cherry fruit and amazing concentration. Unlike many other wines with similar fruit profile, this has lots of acidity and tannins to balance the wine out perfectly. Some earth and spice on the palate, as well. Although this is clearly awesome to drink right now, this wine is built for the long haul. I believe this shouldn't even be touched for 5 years. All I could think of was how good this will be in a few years.
