Roasted coffee, grilled herbs, earth, plum, and blackberry. Massively oaky on the nose. Almost salty on the palate and bone dry to the point of being austere. Fruit has receded enough to make me certain the fruit will not outlast the drying tannins or harsh oak treatment. A wine to drink up in my opinion.
